Denise Stahlie Rivera is geboren in La Paz, Bolivia en is tweetalig opgegroeid. Haar jeugd bracht ze deels door in Bolivia en later in Madrid waar ze haar middelbare school afrondde aan The American School of Madrid. Daarna verhuisde ze naar Boston (VS) waar ze Communicatie Wetenschappen studeerde op Boston College. Na een aantal jaar gewerkt te hebben als TV-presentatrice in de VS en Spanje, verhuisde ze in 1998 naar Nederland. Sindsdien is Denise zeer actief als voice over. Haar moedertalen zijn Spaans en Engels. Vaak komt haar tweetaligheid van pas aangezien verscheidene klanten meerdere talen wensen.
